I posted a note about Detroit a few posts ago. It discussed a new momentum in the motor city. A momentum of entrepreneurship led by young creative professions and a tight underground arts/design scene on the rise. This article from my College for Creative Studies Alumni quarterly talks about DC3, a program to foster creative ventures and bring accelerator support an already vibrant scene whose time is coming. Momentum...it's infectious. Detroit is going to amaze people in ten years, mark my words!
Detroit has a great ethos, but we are having a hard time packaging it for export. So for now, everyone has to come here! ;)
