Quick one so I don't forget. There are malls all over the NorthEast. Some of those malls are dyin' a slow death. Revamp these malls by refocusing them. Embrace the mall walker and concept of sport social engagements and turn those big malls of decay into vibrant fitness oriented superplexes. Imagine the mall traffic aisles painted cross country style. Imagine specialty Nike training facilities with retail and puma basketball courts plus retail plus sport drink bars plus any other sport that'd be great indoors and heated during the dead of winter.
Inspiration: running. I was trying to imagine just how awful running on a treadmill will be during the winter. This led to idea of jogging at the mall. That led to wanting an indoor active play area for kids. The mall environment would be killer space given the right tweaks.
