You might remember my story about Walnut Butter by Walnut Ridge Organics. Well, they are now considering branching out from their spreadable snacks model to chips and finger snack foods.
This time they are considering a simple corn chip with high fiber. I've heard they will be a bit like Frito's with Flax Seed! Ummm Yum! The organic ingredient list will include certified organic blue corn from the Rocky Mountain foothills of Western Nebraska and flax seeds grown near their current operations along the hills and ridges of the Missouri river. They haven't mentioned the source of the salt yet but we can be assured it'll most likely be either Kosher or sea salt. As my source called the new snack, "a trifecta of blue, wholesome goodness."
I am hoping they come up with some innovative packaging like a minimal foiled wrapper in the shape of a two inch diameter tube (by 5in tall) that has a tear off top allowing the single serving snack size to be poured into the snackers mouth with one hand. That'd minimize salty oily fingers as well as wrapper waste.

Rock the day!
